The Edit hotel credits: $500 a year

Two separate $250 statement credits per calendar year for prepaid bookings of 2 or more nights at roughly 1,400 hotels in The Edit collection, booked through Chase Travel. As of 2026 you can use both credits anytime during the year. The old rule that locked one credit to each half of the year is gone. You cannot stack the two $250 credits on the same booking.

Edit stays also come with on-property benefits: daily breakfast for two, a $100 property credit, a room upgrade when available, and early check-in and late checkout where available. On a 2-night stay, the credit plus those benefits routinely covers $450 or more of real value.

The 2026 select-hotel credit: another $250

New for 2026: a separate $250 credit for prepaid Chase Travel stays of 2 or more nights at IHG, Montage, Pendry, Omni, Virgin Hotels, Minor Hotels, and Pan Pacific properties.

The stack: 166 hotels sit in both this program and The Edit. Book one of those and both credits apply to the same stay: up to $500 off one 2-night booking. Filter for them with the "Double credit only" toggle on our hotel list.

The $300 travel credit

Applies automatically to almost anything coded as travel: airfare, hotels, transit, parking, tolls, rideshare. It resets on your cardmember anniversary, not the calendar year, so check your own cycle before you count it twice in one December.

StubHub and viagogo: $300 a year

Two $150 credits, one for January through June and one for July through December. This one is still semiannual, and it requires a one-time activation in your Chase account before it starts applying. Currently scheduled through the end of 2027. Full details in our StubHub credit guide.

Dining: $300 a year at Exclusive Tables

Two $150 semiannual credits at Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables, a curated set of roughly 275 restaurants selected by The Infatuation and bookable on OpenTable. It does not work at every OpenTable restaurant. No activation needed; pay with the card at an eligible restaurant and the credit posts. See which cities have eligible restaurants.

Points earning and Points Boost

Redemptions changed with the refresh. The flat 1.5 cents per point on all Chase Travel bookings is gone. Standard redemptions are now 1 cent per point, and rotating Points Boost offers push select flights and hotels (including Edit properties) up to 2 cents or more. If you were pricing trips on the old 1.5 multiplier, reprice them.

Status and airport perks

Is the $795 fee worth it?

If you take one 2-night Edit trip and eat at one Exclusive Tables restaurant each half of the year, buy tickets on StubHub twice, and let the $300 travel credit absorb normal spending, you clear the fee before counting points, lounges, or the lifestyle credits. The card punishes neglect and rewards planning. That is exactly what the trip planner is for: it finds destinations where several of these credits land on a single trip.

Common questions

Do the Edit credits still reset every six months?

No. That changed for 2026. You get two $250 credits per calendar year and can use them in any month, on two separate stays.

Can I combine both Edit credits on one booking?

No. Each credit applies to a separate qualifying stay. But 166 hotels qualify for both The Edit credit and the 2026 select-hotel credit, which can stack to $500 on one stay.

Which credits need activation?

StubHub, DoorDash, and the Apple subscriptions need a one-time activation. The Edit, select-hotel, travel, dining, Lyft, and Peloton credits apply automatically.

Do authorized users get their own credits?

Authorized users now cost $195 each and share the primary account's credits rather than earning separate ones. Their purchases can trigger the shared credits.
