Stack Two $250 Credits on One Hotel Stay

Every hotel below belongs to The Edit and to the 2026 select-brand promotion, so a single prepaid Chase Travel stay of two nights or more can collect both $250 credits. That is $500 back on one booking, with the standard Edit perks included.

How the $500 stack works

The Edit by Chase gives Sapphire Reserve cardholders two $250 statement credits per calendar year on prepaid Chase Travel bookings of two nights or more. Only one Edit credit applies per stay, so the second credit needs a second booking.

A separate 2026 promotion adds a $250 credit on prepaid Chase Travel stays of two nights or more at participating brands: IHG, Montage, Pendry, Omni, Virgin, Minor (Anantara and others), and Pan Pacific. Chase currently lists this select-brand promotion as running through December 31, 2026.

The hotels on this page appear in both programs. Book one of them for a qualifying stay and the $250 Edit credit and the $250 select-brand credit can both post, which brings the total to $500 on a single booking. We tested it on two nights at the Kimpton Canary in Santa Barbara, and both credits applied.

Common questions

Can both $250 credits apply to one stay?

Yes. When a hotel belongs to The Edit and to the 2026 select-brand promotion, one prepaid Chase Travel stay of two nights or more can collect the $250 Edit credit and the $250 select-brand credit, for $500 total. The Edit allows one of its credits per stay, with two per calendar year.

Does the Sapphire Reserve for Business get the $500 stack?

Yes. The business card has an Edit credit and the 2026 select-hotel credit too, so the same hotels take both on one prepaid stay of two nights or more. From January 1, 2027 its Edit credit rises to $1,000 a year as four $250 credits; the select-hotel credit still ends December 31, 2026.

How long do the statement credits take to post?

Usually a few days after the prepaid charge, but Chase says it can take a billing cycle or two. Chase can reverse a credit if the booking is canceled or changed.

Do the credits work on points bookings or third-party sites?

No. Both credits require prepaid bookings made through Chase Travel. A stay booked directly with the hotel or through a third-party site does not qualify, and neither does a booking paid with points.

What happens after December 31, 2026?

Chase currently lists the select-brand promotion as running through December 31, 2026. The two $250 Edit credits are a standing Sapphire Reserve benefit and continue, so Edit stays keep earning one $250 credit per stay.
