RiverPlace Hotel is one of 4 Edit by Chase hotels in Portland. We don’t have Chase Travel pricing for it yet, but the Edit benefits below apply to any prepaid Chase Travel booking here. It also carries the 2026 double credit, so one prepaid stay of two nights or more can take $500 off.

Chase Travel often charges more than the hotel’s own site, so compare before you book. If you find it cheaper within 24 hours of booking, ask Chase for a price match: it has to beat their price by more than $5 a night, for the same room and refund terms.

August stay: benefits honored, room let down

u/AdEffective1027 on r/ChaseSapphire, August 2026

Their take: The Edit perks came through, but the tired, unclean room left them regretting the choice of hotel.

Details
Welcome
Edit benefits applied, but there was no welcome amenity and the room did not even have free bottled water
Room
Rooms were worn and not clean; they wished they had picked the Kimpton Vintage instead

2 nights stacking the Edit and IHG credits

u/FluffyMud3315 on r/ChaseSapphire, July 2026

  • Breakfast
  • $100 credit
  • Upgraded
  • Late checkout

Their take: A good stay overall in their view, with the main letdown being a suite upgrade whose view was worse than the room they gave up.

Details
Paid
The $250 Edit credit and the $250 IHG credit both applied to the 2-night booking
Check-in
Arrived about 4:30pm, past the usual check-in time, and still had to wait for the room
Room
First room was a corner room with a pretty nice view; rooms look fine inside, though the outside and hallways look old
Upgrade
Refused on day one; on day two they moved to a king-bed suite, but its view was much worse and the original room was already taken when they asked to go back
Breakfast
Breakfast came as $60 a day covering two people, served until 1pm, so closer to brunch; they liked the tostada and oysters
$100 credit
Restaurant only, not the mini-bar; they spent most of it on their final brunch
Welcome
Choice of 600 IHG points or a $10 bar credit; they asked to switch to the bar credit, the desk agreed but never made the change, and $9 of mini-bar snacks showed up on the emailed bill
Late checkout
Given 3pm checkout
